Madi's Band Concert

Madi was in the 5th Grade band concert. She plays the tuba. The concert was very good.

Flowers and Vegetables

The four o'clocks are in bloom. The tomatoes are going wild, as is the squash. We got our first green peppers. The heat and rain is good for something.

The Day Lilies are all in bloom around this area. This is just a section that is in bloom in Norman's yard.

FATHERS DAY 2011

Paula and Mark came over to visit and then we ordered Pizza.

A few group shots. Finally the rain stopped so we could take some pictures. I guess the porch held all of us just fine!

CLEMATIS IN FULL BLOOM

This is one of my clematis bushes. The other one I have took a bit of a beating recently. The trellis it was on got damaged in a storm, so the plant got damaged too. This one was fine as it is growning on the fencepost.

Aaron and Bill went to a spring training game at Goodyear Park. It was between the San Diego Padres and Cinncinati Reds. San Diego won.

This hummingbird was in the hummingbird gardens display at the Desert Museum in Tucson. They were flying around loose in the area and were pretty tame. Got this closeup of one that landed.

My Next Projects

These were my next projects. The spiral necklace was fun to do.

BEADING CLASS

Have been taking beading classes. These are the first things I made. It is fun, but the beads are tiny and need magnifiers to see what I am doing.

Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix

We visited the Botanical Gardens when John and Linda were here. It was hard to find very many blooms, as it is a bit early.
